It was a beautiful day when I decided to go to the second largest beach in the world. The last time I went there I was intrigued so I decided to visit the beach once more. I was quite young when I first visited Marina beach so the only thing I remembered was that it was awesome.  For this visit, we stayed with my grandma and grandpa at their house. My uncle also lived there too.

We all got into the car and drove to the beach. When I got out of the car… my head exploded into 100 pieces and my eyes popped out of my eye sockets.  I almost fainted! Ok, maybe I am exaggerating just a little bit but I just want you to truly understand how amazing this place was. I was shocked by the length of the beach and how many stalls there were. If I could estimate, I would guess around 56! There were food stalls, toy stalls, and there were also stalls where there were rides!

The first thing that caught my eye on the extremely long beach were the people horse riding. I just had to do it and luckily I was given the chance.  I hopped on the horse and the horse man somehow made the magnificent creature go forward with two strings. The horse was as obedient as a tamed dog. It was about five metres tall and seven metres wide. The horses colour was a brilliant shade of brown.

Then I went on a supersonic man powered merry go round, it went so fast that I was scared that it would fall apart!  But I still didn't regret jumping on. Then I bought a bouncy green toy and had something delicious to eat. Then after all of that we went back home.

I was satisfied enough by this magnificent experience.  It was enough for one day and I definitely slept well after that!!!

In the gaming room, there were all sorts of spectacular arcade games!  They were mind blowing. However, there were not only a tonne of arcade games but also a huge amount of rides and other types of games.

The gaming room was in a shopping mall, hence there was an immense amount of noise.  People were chattering and laughing, and the arcade games made an array of noises. “Boom, smash, crash, bang, bash.”  People of all ages stood in front of the arcade games and looked determined as they played and focused on winning. Some people looked pleased with themselves as they won their game while other people gave looks of frustration and defeat when they lost.  All colours of the rainbow lit up on the games, making them interesting and exciting to look at.

The aroma of muffins and other bakery items was coming from all directions within the mall. An amazing plastic smell was coming from the bumper cars!  The smell was pleasing and satisfying.

Altogether this place was filled with excitement and delight.

a magic show is being held on Wednesday 28th December 2018 at kethay park. there are ten magicians. it is being held from 10.30 am to 11.30 am the cost is $ 30.50.

James and the Giant Peach

Characters: 

The characters in the story are, James Henry  trotter, Aunt Sponge, and Spiker, miss Spider, Earth worm, The centipede, the  old green grasshopper, the ladybug, the silk worm and the glow worm.

James Henry Trotter is a clever seven year old boy who is kind and wants nothing more than to have lots of friends and be happy. 

Plot: 

In the story James's mother and father goes to London and get eaten up by a colossal rhinoceros so James is forced to live with his two cruel Aunties, Aunt Sponge and Spiker but he finds a giant peach and travels to New York.

My opinion:

I personally loved the brilliant book. My favorite part was when James Henry Trotter made a quick and slick escape with his friends! In the entire story I found one really funny part which was when aunt Spiker and Sponge got squashed by the gigantic peach. Although I didn't find any part scary. After I read the whole entire book I learnt that you should never never be selfish, nasty or greedy.

I highly recommend that you read this book because it contains everything a child 7-10 would want. If you're around 7-10 years old you should read it.This book will teach you many lessons that you will need in your life. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
